Songs for the Neighbors 2LP

Norwich, Vermont is the unlikely starting point for Hans Williams' plainspoken, contemplative folk songs, though it was Tulane University in New Orleans where he found the wider musical community that let R&B and soul seep into his otherwise stripped-back songwriting. He usually works with fellow Upper Valley transplant Phin Choukas, and the combination has quietly built him over a million monthly Spotify listeners, an oddly large number for music this unhurried. This two-LP set keeps that momentum going after his 2024 debut EP, More Than One Way Home, proof that quiet can still move numbers.
