Unicorn CASSETTE

Gunship formed when Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway stepped out of their post-hardcore band Fightstar's hiatus, later adding drummer Alex Gingell, and they build tracks like they're scoring a VHS tape that's starting to warp, dense and cinematic with '80s film and video-game DNA running through every synth line. Working off their own label, Horsie in the Hedge, the band has already charted on the UK Dance Albums list with Dark All Day. Unicorn keeps the group's habit of stacking in outside voices, pulling in names from John Carpenter to Dave Lombardo and Carpenter Brut.
