Umbra CD

Grayscale's "Umbra" is a clever contradiction in a shiny pop/rock disguise. The melodies, as inviting as a carnival's bright lights, conceal lyrics that dive into vindictiveness and darkness, revealing a more complex core than the upbeat surface suggests. Their East Coast roots bleed through, confidently flaunting jagged edges that suggest a recklessness just beneath the glitter.
