Ginuwine...the Bachelor 2LP

Ginuwine's 1996 debut, Ginuwine...the Bachelor, rides almost entirely on Timbaland's early production, with Missy Elliott and Robert Reives adding their own fingerprints along the way. It went double platinum, peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 and No. 14 on the R&B Albums chart, carried by "Pony" and a strange, slinking cover of Prince's "When Doves Cry." This is the record where you can hear Timbaland's whole future sound still finding its legs inside 1990s R&B.
