Thirty Three & 1/3 LP

George Harrison finally got out from under years of contract headaches when Thirty Three & 1/3 became his first release on Dark Horse Records, the label he'd already founded two years earlier in 1974, "This Song" taking a direct swing at the plagiarism suit over "My Sweet Lord" while "Crackerbox Palace" carried the hit. For Record Store Day Black Friday, Dark Horse spins that history onto a zoetrope disc, a picture disc built to look like it's animating as the turntable turns it. It's a genuinely different object, not another reissue pushed out the door.
