Sam Shepherd's first ballet score, made for San Francisco Ballet under Tamara Rojo with Aszure Barton choreographing, sets his electronic production against the full San Francisco Ballet Orchestra on the Pandora myth. Fourteen tracks, out August 28, 2026 on Deutsche Grammophon ahead of European dates at Edinburgh and Sadler's Wells. A real departure for Floating Points, and worth hearing even if you skip the ballet itself.
