Down Every Road LP

Down Every Road is Eli "Paperboy" Reed's Merle Haggard tribute, pulled from across Haggard's catalog and sung through Reed's Stax and Motown trained voice. Reed, out of Brookline, Massachusetts, has built his whole career on classic soul and R&B sounds. Horns, organ and a soul backbeat carry the songs here, and the case holds up: Haggard's writing works just fine dressed this way. Yep Roc put it out.
