(self-titled) LP

"When I'm Gone" hit like a door slamming before the band even had a deal: Dirty Honey's blues-edged riff sent it to number one on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, the first unsigned act ever to top it. Fronted by Marc LaBelle and guitarist John Notto, the Los Angeles band followed that with its self-titled album on their own label, Dirt Records, sticking with the same gritty, classic-rock-leaning sound that had already earned them opening slots for Slash. It landed on several outlets' year-end lists of the best rock releases.
