Enthrone Darkness Triumphant landed in 1997, Dimmu Borgir's first outing for Nuclear Blast, Peter Tagtgren running the boards behind Shagrath, Silenoz, Nagash, Stian Aarstad, and Tjodalv. AllMusic later put it among the most important Scandinavian metal records made, and Metal Hammer ranked it with the best the genre has, neither publication known for handing that out cheap. This reissue changes nothing but the format.
