Suffer Divine LP

Darkest Hour cut Suffer Divine, their eleventh album, with producer Mark Lewis, whose credits run through Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Cannibal Corpse, which tells you plenty about how hard this hits. Guitarist Mike Schleibaum has said the title track takes direct aim at people who spread hatred and division, and the record builds outward from there, wringing something like hope out of rage and pain. MNRK Heavy, the same label behind Perpetual Terminal, puts this one out too, a band thirty years in that still sounds like it has something to prove.
