Homework 2LP

Homework doubles as concept and victory lap: Daft Punk taped it between 1994 and 1996 in the Paris home studio they nicknamed Daft House, the source of the title, then used it to drag French house into a worldwide conversation. Disco, Chicago house, and techno fold into something that sounds like nobody else, with "Da Funk" and "Around the World" crossing from dance clubs into the pop charts. It moved more than two million copies within a few years, and Rolling Stone later called it the greatest electronic dance album ever made.
