Living In Excellence LP

Constant Mongrel started as a two-piece literally rehearsing in an old laundry room, Tom Ridgewell and Hugh Young figuring things out between loads, before Amy Hill and Andrew Murray joined up for Living in Excellence. Half of Melbourne's underground shows up somewhere in these guys' resumes, Terry, Woollen Kits, Nun and Taco Leg among them, and Mikey Young of Total Control and Eddy Current Suppression Ring mastered the thing. The post-punk base gets saxophone and analog synth stacked right on top, like someone snuck extra instruments in through the dryer vent.
