Chelsea Grin - Self Inflicted LP

Eleven tracks made up Self Inflicted when Chelsea Grin, the Salt Lake City deathcore band, first put it out on Rise Records in 2016. A 2017 expansion folded in "American Dream" and "Avidus," bringing the total here to thirteen. Opener "Welcome Back" sets the tone with the band's signature breakdown-heavy attack. Verdict: a heavier entry that helped build Chelsea Grin's name as one of deathcore's hardest live draws through the 2010s.
