Generic Everything LP

Chase & Status call their own bluff with Generic Everything, a title that pokes fun at two decades spent dragging drum and bass toward festival main stages and pop crossovers. The ten-track record, arriving after 2022's What Came Before and a 2023 mixtape, 2 Ruff, Vol. 1, leans hard on guests, stacking J Hus, Skrillex, Little Simz, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH, Debbie, Ledbyher, and Col3trane onto one tracklist like a block party with too many hosts. The duo say the whole thing is a reaction against blending in, built out of singles they rolled out ahead of time.
