(self-titled) LP

Caspian wrote this self-titled record, their first since On Circles and first for Wax Bodega, in short sessions pulled together across Massachusetts, Maine, New York, and Colorado with producer Brett Romnes doing the gluing. "Remain" builds slow and patient, but "A Great Fire" snaps that calm in half, winding guitar lines running straight into buzzsaw riffing before the record settles into the triple-time "Waltz for the End." Six songs, about 39 minutes, and every one of them earns its space.
