Butchered At Birth LP

Cannibal Corpse's second album, out in 1991 on Metal Blade with Chris Barnes on vocals, Bob Rusay and Jack Owen on guitars, Alex Webster on bass, and Paul Mazurkiewicz on drums, helped build death metal's gore-soaked reputation while the band was still a Buffalo outfit, years before its move to Florida. Vincent Locke's watercolor cover art was graphic enough that some stores would not sell it to anyone under 18, a reputation this picture disc pressing puts front and center.
