Official Bump Call 12"

Rekids waited fifteen years for a new Butch record after 2011's "Raw Beats," and Official Bump Call is what showed up. The title track runs on a loose, funky, live drum break; Riva Starr, who runs Snatch! Records, remixes it into a tighter groove without burying the vocal. Rekids was built into a house and techno mainstay by founder Radio Slave, and Butch has records on Life and Death, Running Back, Defected, and Innervisions. Buy it for the remix.
