Greatest Hits Vol. 3 2LP

This compilation gathers 14 tracks spanning Dylan's recordings from the mid-1970s through the start of the 1990s, picking up where 1971's Greatest Hits Vol. II left off. Four of the songs were already Hot 100 hits on their own: "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" at No. 12, "Gotta Serve Somebody" at No. 24, "Tangled Up in Blue" at No. 31 and "Hurricane" at No. 33. The set itself stalled at No. 126 on the Billboard 200, proof that a run of hit singles doesn't automatically add up to a hit package.
