Nobody Beats The 7"

Before "Just a Friend" made him a star the following year, Biz Markie, born Marcel Theo Hall, put out "Nobody Beats the Biz" as one of the underground hits off his 1988 debut Goin' Off, the record that introduced his comedic, beat-boxing style on Cold Chillin' and Warner Bros. He went on to become hip-hop's self-styled "Clown Prince," a fixture on TV and in film long after the records stopped charting. This 7" brings the original single back for Record Store Day Black Friday.
