Live at Pageant : Soloveev LP

Bill Nace and Mike Polizze, both fixtures of the Philadelphia experimental scene, played together for the first time on Live at Pageant: Soloveev, a one-sided LP on Sea Note Records cut at a Philadelphia gallery show. Nace works noise and improv, including the duo Body/Head with Kim Gordon, while Polizze fronts Purling Hiss, playing guitar here against Nace's taishogoto. It's loose, raw, and built entirely on improvisation rather than songs, with no studio polish to hide behind.
