4 CD

4 is the album where Beyonce started running things through her own Parkwood Entertainment alongside Columbia, and it paid off immediately: it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became her first record to actually hold that spot past a single week, eventually going quadruple platinum. Andre 3000 is the only featured voice on the whole thing, dropping in on "Party," while the rest got built out with a crowded producer list that included Kanye West, The-Dream and Babyface. "Love on Top" alone walked off with a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
