Goes to Hell LP

Goes to Hell picks the Steven storyline back up right where Welcome to My Nightmare dropped it, with Bob Ezrin again behind the board and co-writing alongside Cooper and guitarist Dick Wagner. Steve Hunter, John Tropea, and bassist Tony Levin pushed the sessions through studios in Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, stacking riffs hard enough to carry the record to No. 27 on the Billboard 200 and a Gold certification. Critics at the time couldn't agree whether the hooks or the excess won the fight, and that argument never really got settled.
