200 Stab Wounds - Lowest Form LP

Formed in Cleveland in 2019, 200 Stab Wounds made their mark in death metal with the 2021 debut Slave to the Scalpel, built around guitarist and vocalist Steve Buhl, drummer Owen Pooley, guitarist Raymond MacDonald and bassist Todd Thompson. Metal Blade Records signed the band and backed the follow-up, 2024's Manual Manic Procedures, putting them on a label with decades of extreme metal behind it. Lowest Form keeps that same four-piece lineup grinding out blunt, riff-driven death metal, the kind of unglamorous physical weight that's made them one of the genre's more talked-about younger bands.
