156/Silence can't sit still between albums, jumping from Converge and early Dillinger Escape Plan comparisons toward the murkier, more disorienting lane critics now peg to VEIN.FM, and People Watching bears that out. Jack Murray's clean vocals got singled out on "Better Written Villain," while guest spots from Craig Owens (D.R.U.G.S., Chiodos), Carson Pace, and Trae Roberts of Mouth for War crowd the SharpTone Records release. It's metalcore built on whiplash, not just riffs.
