DESCRIPTION
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Momentary Lapse Of Reason is the 13th studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released in the UK and US in September 1987.
From 1969, this was their fourth album and they had all their tricks in the bag. Insert all the drug jokes and references you want, this album is a masterpiece – one disc studio, one live. After it was released in November 1969, the decade was done.
The music was written mostly by David Gilmour and Rick Wright; lyrically, the album deals with themes of communication. Recording took place in several locations, including the band's Britannia Row Studios, and Gilmour's houseboat, Astoria.
Contains the original 1975 album + 9 bonus tracks
Bonus tracks consist of:
9 studio rarities
6 of which have never been released in any way
4 of these newly mixed by James Guthrie, 2 are original studio mixes
