Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by Bob Dylan, released in March 1967 on Columbia Records. It contains every Top 40 single Dylan enjoyed through 1967.
One of Dylan's greatest. Double LP includes the epic Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, Rainy Day Women 12 & 35, and I Want You. Dylan in his late 60's best.
The first half of the album features electric songs, followed by mainly acoustic songs in the second half. The album abandons the protest music of Dylan's previous records in favor of more surreal, complex lyrics.
Sounding like the long lost U.S. twin of Joe Cocker and backed by a near-acoustic backline throughout, the record is solely focused on one man, his words and voice.
Warm, cozy, and dreamy, Peel Dream Magazine's 'Rose Main Reading Room' is ideal listening for a walk on a sunny autumnal day. These cassette copies were signed in store by the band after a performance in Oct 2025!
