Tedeschi Trucks Band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 2010 around married couple Susan Tedeschi (born November 9, 1970, Boston, Massachusetts) and Derek Trucks (born June 8, 1979, Jacksonville, Florida). Susan Tedeschi had parallel solo career as a blues singer-songwriter (1998 Just Won't Burn / Grammy nominations), and Derek Trucks had parallel work as a member of the Allman Brothers Band (1999-2014) and his own Derek Trucks Band (1994-2010). They are married. They are widely cited as one of the most important contemporary blues rock collectives, with the 11+ member band featuring multi-vocalist arrangements, dual drummers, horn section, and additional instrumentation. Their 2011 debut Revelator won the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album in 2012.
