She launched her music recording career around 2017 with AWAL releases before signing with Sub Pop Records. Her 2022 LP I Can't Let Go received critical attention. Her 2024 follow-up Memoir of a Sparklemuffin continued her trajectory. She appeared in the 2023 Amazon Prime miniseries Daisy Jones & The Six as Karen Sirko, with musical performance content expanding her musical audience. She has been in a relationship with actor Robert Pattinson since 2018; their daughter was born in 2024.
