Isabelle Rezazadeh, performing as Rezz (often stylized REZZ), was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on March 12, 1995 to Iranian-Russian heritage. She launched her recording career as a teenager and signed with Deadmau5's mau5trap label in 2015. She is widely cited as a defining figure of the contemporary bass music and dark electronic scenes, with international touring presence and visual aesthetic centered on her signature LED visor / DJ rig. She launched her own HypnoVizion Records label in 2020. She has continued releasing material across multiple decades.
