About Polo & Pan

Polo & Pan formed in Paris in 2012 around Paul Armand-Delille (Polocorp) and Alexandre Grynszpan (Peter Pan), who met as DJs at the Parisian nightclub Le Baron. They are widely cited as a defining contemporary French electronic music and exotica revival act, with international touring presence and cult audience. Their distinctive blend of electronic dance music, contemporary French pop, exotica, tropicalia, and sample integration from classic 1960s and 1970s French and Latin American popular music has positioned them as one of the most distinctive contemporary electronic acts. They have continued releasing material across multiple decades.

Sound and style

Polo & Pan's sound combines electronic, exotica, tropicalia, French pop, dance, house, bossa nova, and chillwave with their distinctive multi-vocalist arrangements (use of French-language vocals), atmospheric production approaches, extensive sample integration from classic mid-20th century international music, and arrangements drawing on 1960s exotica revival traditions alongside contemporary electronic music influences.
