NxWorries is the Los Angeles duo of Anderson.Paak and producer Knxwledge, formed in 2015 in the Stones Throw Records family. Their 2016 debut Yes Lawd! — all lo-fi soul loops and Paak's magnetic vocals — helped launch his mainstream run, and 2024's Why Lawd? ended an eight-year wait in style. NxWorries formed in Los Angeles in 2015 around Anderson.Paak (Brandon Paak Anderson, vocalist and drummer) and Knxwledge (Glen Earl Boothe, producer). The project launched Anderson.Paak's mainstream career - his subsequent solo albums Malibu (2016) and Oxnard (2018) became commercial breakthroughs after NxWorries's 2016 debut Yes Lawd! Both members are associated with the Stones Throw Records family. Their 2024 follow-up Why Lawd? was their first NxWorries album in eight years.
