Geordie Greep is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist born 1999. He was the frontman of London experimental rock band Black Midi from their 2017 formation through the band's announced indefinite hiatus in 2024. His solo debut The New Sound was released on Rough Trade Records in October 2024, with the album drawing on extensive Brazilian and Latin musical influences alongside the angular, theatrical art rock approach familiar from his Black Midi work.
