About Fiddlehead
Fiddlehead formed in Boston in 2014 around Patrick Flynn, who had previously fronted the influential Boston hardcore band Have Heart (2002-2009). The band has been on Run for Cover Records throughout their catalog. Their work has been centrally focused on Flynn's personal lyrical engagement with grief - particularly his father's death - alongside emotional emo and post-hardcore song forms.
Sound and style
Fiddlehead's sound combines post-hardcore, emo, melodic hardcore, and indie rock with extensive melodic hooks alongside Flynn's anchored, hardcore-rooted vocal delivery. Their work bridges contemporary post-hardcore with emo and indie rock traditions.
