Joe Keery was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on April 24, 1992. He is best known as the actor playing Steve Harrington on Netflix's Stranger Things (since 2015) and for his roles in Marmalade (2024) and the FX miniseries Fargo. He launched his Djo music project as a deliberately separate creative identity, releasing his debut Twenty Twenty in 2019 on AWAL. The 2022 album DECIDE included End of Beginning, which became a viral hit in 2024 (more than 18 months after its initial release) - particularly through TikTok - reaching the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the top of charts internationally.
