About Destroy Boys
Destroy Boys formed in Sacramento, California in 2015 when Alexia Roditis and Violet Mayugba were teenagers in high school. The band has built a sustained career through extensive touring and a series of releases moving from self-released material to Hopeless Records for Open Mouth, Open Heart (2021) and subsequent albums. They have toured with Pierce the Veil, the Linda Lindas, Green Day, and others.
Sound and style
Destroy Boys' sound combines punk rock, garage punk, riot grrrl, and indie rock with energetic performances and lyrical content addressing queer experience, anti-fascism, and contemporary American culture.
