About Bruno Mars
Peter Gene Hernandez was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 8, 1985. After early work as a songwriter and producer (member of the production team The Smeezingtons with Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine), he launched his solo career as Bruno Mars in 2009. His debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) on Elektra established him as a major commercial pop artist. 24K Magic (2016) won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2018. An Evening with Silk Sonic (2021, with Anderson.Paak) won Record and Song of the Year at the 2022 Grammys.
