About Brent Faiyaz
Christopher Brent Wood was born in Columbia, Maryland on September 19, 1995. He began releasing music as Brent Faiyaz in 2014 and gained early attention as the featured vocalist on GoldLink's 2017 single Crew. He is also one-third of the group Sonder, with producers Dpat and Atu. Faiyaz has operated as an independent artist throughout his career, running his own Lost Kids label, and is widely considered one of the most influential contemporary R&B figures of the late 2010s and early 2020s.
