Basement formed in Ipswich, England in 2009 with a lineup of Andrew Fisher on vocals, Alex Henery and Ronan Crix on guitars, Duncan Stewart on bass, and James Fisher (Andrew's brother) on drums. They signed with Run for Cover Records and released their debut album I Wish I Could Stay Here in 2011.
