A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR) formed in Ocala, Florida in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. The early lineup added vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, and bassist Joshua Woodard. Scruggs was replaced by Alex Shelnutt in 2006, and Denney was replaced by Kevin Skaff in 2009 during the Homesick touring cycle. Woodard departed in 2021.
