It’s time — Record Store Day is tomorrow. We’ve been busy repeating the alphabet to organize releases, polishing plates of treats for the audiophile, and grumbling about an 8am open (while our Broadway crew gloats their 10am sleep-in). All in all, we’re ready to throw a record rager. As always, expect everything good and an early line at both locations. These are a few picks that we’re psyched about getting our hands on.

“A flawless live performance delivered by Kelela at New York’s famous Blue Note Jazz Club. She re-imagines songs across her discography, plus a couple covers of Joni Mitchell and Betty Carter tracks, alongside her band which includes my favorite harpist Ahya Simone. Her rendition of “Waitin” (Kaytranada remix) is my favorite track but the whole album is an invitation inside an intimate experience that would only be more magical if I was there to see it in person.”
