RSD Black Friday 2025 with music, DJs, free coffee and donuts and more

RSD Black Friday 2025 is Friday November 28, and Wax Trax will now have THREE (3) locations with RSD's rare and coveted vinyl LPS, one in Capitol Hill, one in Baker/So. Broadway, and one on the Northside! And all three stores are giving away high-end turntables!
All three stores will open at 9am!
Wax Trax Records (638 E 13th Ave) - Doors at 9am
Here we've ordered everything that's worth getting, even some of the more off the beaten path type of stuff. Over 150 RSD BF titles!
Wax Trax's O.G. store will open at 9am packed with an unbeatable selection of official Record Store Day releases and an exclusive used vinyl drop. Those who line up early will be treated to free donut bites and coffee courtesy of Jelly Cafe starting at 8am. The shop will be giving away a high-end green Victrola Stream Onyx WiFi and Bluetooth Turntable (an $800 value). Our friends at Audio Technica also gave as 1 x AT-LP70XBT-BS (black/silver) and 1 x AT-SP3X Bookshelf Speakers, giving a couple lucky winners a great setup to spin their new finds. Special guests Denver doom metal band KHEMMIS will be joining in the afternoon from 1-4pm for a special vinyl DJ set and meet n' greet. AEG will also be joining to sell fee-reduced tickets to their shows.
Wax Trax Broadway Bazaar (200 S Broadway) - Doors at 9am
Here we'll have just a slightly more curated RSD selection! All the best stuff will be there! Over 110 titles!
Wax Trax Broadway Bazaar will open at 9am with a slightly more curated selection of RSD releases as well as a used record drop and rare deals on vintage clothes and accessories. Those who line up early will be treated to free VooDoo Doughnuts courtesy of VooDoo themselves, starting at 8:15am. From 12pm-3pm DJ Boyhollow will get things jumping in the shop. There will also be a separate giveaway for a high-end white Victrola Stream Onyx WiFi and Bluetooth Turntable (an $800 value). Wax Trax Broadway Bazaar, which includes a vintage clothing shop, opened on South Broadway in late 2023. Broadway Bazaar vintage will be offering a 30% discount on vintage with receipt of Wax Trax purchase.
DJ Boyhollow is one of Denver's best known DJs. He created some of the longest running and best known dance parties in the city, attracting talent from all over the country to join him on the wheels of steel.
Wax Trax Northside (3641 W. 32nd Ave) - Doors at 9am
We're excited to offer RSD Black Friday at Wax Trax Northside for the first time. Here we'll have just a slightly more curated RSD selection so it fits in our new space! All the best stuff will be there -- Over 110 titles.
Starting at 8am, we'll have free croissants and coffee courtesy of Cafe Zuri for the line. Just an hour later, Wax Trax Northside will open at 9am with a slightly more curated selection of RSD releases as well as a used record drop. There will also be a separate giveaway for a blue high-end Victrola Stream Onyx WiFi and Bluetooth Turntable. We'll have a special musical guest DJ Woody Deville spinning vinyl from 12-3pm.
Our rules include:
- It’s first come, first served - please be good to each other in the line!
- No store in the country is ever 100% sure about receiving stuff, but most likely we'll have it and if it's popular we'll have a ton of it. (e.g. yes, the Icona Pop, the Ween, the Role Model, the Talking Heads, the Vince Guaraldi, the Sleigh Bells, we will have plenty of these and much more!)
- All normal RSD rules still apply, no holds, only 1 of the same title.
- RSD items that don't sell in the shop are and/or will start appearing online here on Sunday.
