Gentry, Bobbie - The Delta Sweetie LP

An incredible record that rarely gets the recognition it deserves.  Delta Sweete is a country concept record (what?) that is staggeringly beautiful.  Overshadowed by Gentry's hit single, Ode To Billie Joe, Delta Sweete proved to be too weird for a mainstream audience.  "Courtyard" just might be  the most beautiful song you've ever heard.
