Sundowner is the new full-length album from Kevin Morby. After relocating from Los Angeles to his hometown of Kansas City, Morby wrote this new collection of songs on a four-track Tascam 424 in a makeshift studio in his backyard shed.
Recorded in Los Angeles, the songwriter and guitarist’s sixth solo album is ambitious yet effortless. Even his lead guitar seems almost to melt away into the delicate arrangements.
